"We did enjoy our stay. However, felt a little mislead by the pictures of the property. There was a cabin/house next to the cabin we stayed in that I would consider too close. They also had a a ton of cars and people there that our parking space was limited. Couch was uncomfortable. Small tv that only existed in living room. The oven didn’t work. Overall, we did enjoy but wouldn’t go back."

"The property was adorable but we did experience some challenges. The primary main floor bedroom had drawers/storage area that smelled like cat pee. There is a moisture problem. We saw black mold around the baseboards near the washing machine in the main bedroom, which may be the culprit on the odors. The shower also has not been property cleaned; orange mold was growing in the shower. Lastly the cooling units were unable to properly cool the cottage. We did communicate these items to the owner...

"This place is what you see in the photos of nice and cozy. There is a lot of small details put into this room. I stayed by myself but I know if my wife was to come she would have liked it too but she would have preferred a Keurig coffee machine over the older traditional coffee maker. You are within walking distance to downtown Fort Payne which have some small quaint places to eat and shop in small stores. I would stay there again."

"This was the most beautiful and super clean home and property. Most everything we needed was there or not too far away. Couldn't have asked for better weather, and the leaves were just beginning to change. Unfortunately we didn't canoe until the last afternoon, because that would have been a daily outing.
