"We enjoyed our stay at this property. The hotel is lovely and in a great location next to Gdansk Glowny station and just steps from Old Town. The room was nice. The brewery was a fun place for dinner and the buffet breakfast was wonderful.
The only negatives were that we arrived and were assigned a room on the 4th floor. It is not accessible by elevator. When we realized that and returned to the reception desk, we were told that we should have known that and it would be really difficult to change our room to something on a lower floor. The stairs were curved and consisted of 3 different long flights with turns to get from the 3rd floor to the 4th. There is an elevator up to the 3rd floor. Eventually we were given a room on the 3rd floor, but we felt reprimanded for not knowing and told that in the future we should contact the hotel directly to tell them as it was clearly stated that some rooms were not accessible via elevator. I apologized and told them I must have missed that on Expedia, but in looking back, I still did not see that was evident. Just a heads up about that. We are 70 and had 2 big suitcases and it just wasn’t safe for us to try those stairs. There was no help offered.
The other thing was that this hotel does not provide the nice room amenities upon arrival that we have seen with many other Expedia properties. Basic towels, no washcloths or robes.
All this said, it was a nice stay.
