"I had an amazing stay at Hame Hotel on the Isle of Skye. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and well organized, making our stay very easy. The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked. Wow sea-view! walks, cliffs, wildlife - spacious contemporary home

"This property & its owners were absolutely fabulous from day one right to the end! The photos were absolutely stunning and we knew it would be a wonderful setting for our holiday but being there in the flesh brought out a truly stunning & memorable experience we will carry with us forever. The cleanliness was superb! The set up could not be more perfect. The communication with the owners was extremely smooth, responsive & kind. This property has everything! A stunning & very full kitchen with all that you need to cook nice dinners if you prefer to eat at home & even some cook books if you’d like to try new recipes! Games for the evening & even a wood burning fireplace for chilly nights. The location of the rental property was the very best it could be for all the locations we wished to visit on Skye. From The Quiraing, The Old Man of Storr, Fairy Glen, Kilt Rock Waterfalls & so many more gorgeous sites to see were all located in very close proximity to the property.So close that each day we woke up early, went site seeing, returned back to the property for lunch, tea and a short rest & then back out for more site seeing & home by dinner.This property also has the most spectacular windows to view the stunning sea front right outside. We were extremely fortunate to have such wonderful weather & the opportunity to view a pod of dolphins & even a shark outside the window of the family room! It truly was the trip of a lifetime. We cannot wait to return one day soon!"

"We found everything to be absolutely spot on for our two night stay. Only problem we found was the approach road to the property from the main road. It is absolutely full of potholes .The local council have responsibility for this apparently and given that there are quite a few properties including holiday lets on this road you would think they'd make some effort to improve it."

"The only thing I did not like about this property is that my room had. I black out curtains. Which meant that every day I was woken up by the light at around 4:5-5 am. When the sun came up. One would think that the managers of this property would be sensitive to this since the sun comes up very early around 5 months per year. Otherwise good experience overall. The front desk was very helpful!"

"A busy local pub with simple clean basic rooms, ‘Hotel’ is a bit rich. Overwhelmed by tourism on. Friday night with a heaving bar, live music and constant stream of people looking for supper, it’s heroic staff were great. As a resident I was found a very late sitting supper which was expensive and of modest quality. The rooms have cardboard walls. Breakfast was well served but again very modest, no fresh fruit, yoghourt one waitress. Clean, good staff, but poor value for money"

"The Skye Inn was a guesthouse at hotel prices. The restaurant was closed the breakfast while good was slow and the staff in their own words were “distracted” Basically it seemed that the student aged staff were operating the Skye Inn without adult management. Perhaps as the season was just starting they were all new on their jobs but the place missed having an experienced adult in charge"
