"It’s an old hotel, so don’t expect modern day upgrades in the rooms. The hotel IS great. Our room was good. A few things wrong with room but no bad, sort of. Our a/c unit didn’t work, so we had to leave the window open our entire 4 day stay. Not bad. There IS, also, a big window in the shower, which is facing the street. Talk about putting a show for all those outside. Our room had a great view, and so did the outside looking in. It’s even worse when showering, or using bathroom at night. Beware room 420. Besides those two things, for the time we actually used the room, it was great. Bar, restaurant, free coffee, tea, and water. Concierge service. It’s a great hotel, and it’s in a great location. Everything is walking distance. I’d stay here again."

"The house is in a great location where we were able to walk to everything. The host was available for any questions and gave us great recommendations for places to eat. The house is an historic treasure that worked well for us with our grown children. I don't know that it would be a good fit for young children though. All bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, so you may want to pack smaller suitcases rather than a large heavy one. Bathrooms were spacious. We would stay here again."

"The house is so cool. All of the Halloween and spooky touches made the stay! The only thing that would be appreciated would be a bit better clarification on parking. It seems as though three houses share the one drive and it wasn’t clear where our spots were. This led to someone angrily banging on our door at 1 am and leaving a note on our car because apparently there is handicap parking in a house driveway?!?"

"It was a great space, 3 bedrooms on the 3rd floor. My only complaint was the 3 flights of stairs for the luggage, but I can't fault it for that. It was communicated in advance and to get anywhere to stay in Salem during October we were lucky. Especially a place that close to everything. I strongly recommend against bringing a car, parking is very tight motorcycle is fine, renting a blue bike is pretty great honestly for Salem so highly recommend. It is a bit of a walk to downtown, but it's doable from that location and we're not spring chickens who even touch a gym so that should tell you something about it's walkable nature. Honestly I loved the spot would definitely go there again"
