"Clean and tidy but not as modern and fresh as other Novotels like York UK, Berlin Germany or Vienna Austria. (Balconies are a little tired and bathrooms not as modern) Pillows are uncomfortable as one square and one rectangular. Great location and easy access to Lake and public transport."

"Excellent & convenient location (across from Geneva train station)! They include local transportation card for you to get around)! Amazing efficient staff (shout out to Helio who make check in super efficient with helpful tips on where to go) & the other staff too! Love that we could check in early when we arrived! That’s efficiency! Love the room, Air Con, end of May was already hot!! Last hotel did not have AC we were miserable! LOVE that restaurants are right next to hotel for late night supper!! Love everything about this hotel even though we stayed only 2 nights before leaving Switzerland!"

"Stayed here as was diverted from Zurich. Got in very late. Staff at desk was helpful. Got to room. Looked dated and in need of renovating. Carpet looked stained. Turned down bed and there was a stain on the sheet. It had been washed but was still stained right at the head of the bed. Shouldn't use sheets like that. Pillows smelled of other people's heads. Bathroom nice but cracked tiles on floor and in shower. Tiles on bathroom wall and floor grouting had mold. For a hotel of this quality and price I expect a lot better."

"Worst hotel mattress I've ever slept in (rock hard and lumpy, old and discoloured under the clean sheets), view to a filthy interior courtyard, and loud hostel vibes (university block booking guests liked to chat in the common area right outside my room, at least never after midnight). The 'hair dryer' was from another era (a wall mounted U shaped tube situation) and it was either broken or I couldn't figure out how to turn it on. Positive notes were the location, and the hot water never ran out and had good water pressure (though the shower was very, very small). I come to Geneva often for work and usually get much nicer hotels for the same price I paid here, but this was a last minute trip and all the was left in budget. I'll avoid next time."
