"Staff was outstanding. I’d like to mention the little lady at breakfast. She was so pleasant and nice to talk to. Another lady who stood out was the blonde lady at dinner who was very attentive and friendly! And the young man who helped us in the mornings since he spoke English the best. Thank you!"

"Lovely house with plenty of space and well positioned. Great for teenagers / young adults as there was lots of room to spread out and a good Internet connection. The house is very interesting with lots of unique features including balconies and roof terraces. We enjoyed trips to Europa Park, Freiburg, Strasbourg and a ruined castle.The only issue is that the car parking spaces are narrow, and it can be a little difficult to access especially if (like us) you have a big car.Overall though it was a great stay and I would recommend this property."

"Excellent property. Easy to find & only a few minutes from the town square. Easy walking distance to beautiful river trails. The property was clean, big & easy to access. Nice size bedrooms and excellent shower. Fully stocked kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven etc. Parking space out front. An excellent alternative to a hotel room. Wish I'd stayed longer. Highly recommended."

"Loud people living upstairs. Banging around all hours of the night. Not clean. The ad said there was laundry and that was my #1 search requirement as it was mid trip for us. Saw pics with a laundry in the kitchen. No laundry machine was there just an Empty space. Host said there’s no laundry in town so we all had to hand wash. It was a pain. One couch and nowhere else to sit and visit. Front door lock didn’t work very well. Always felt like I was going to be locked out. Great location just a block from the towns gate. But not worth it. Vrbo should consider delisting unless improvements are made. "

"My husband and I, our daughter and grandchildren spent part of a weekend here. The accommodations were perfect for our needs right down to the games and puzzles for the children! The highlight of this stay though was our host. They were extremely accommodating and very communicative. It made everything go very smoothly for us and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. More so than we actually thought, also due to the beautiful little town of Gengenbach! We were able to walk into town on three separate occasions grab a coffee and meander through the streets and shops. They had a Christmas market while we were there which has turned out so far in seven we have visited in our time in Germany, to be my favorite. Please don’t hesitate to stay here and ask any questions that you have. The owners are extremely responsive. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and should we find ourselves in Germany again we would love to come back! "
