great place! you will need an international phone to get into main building, then know the code to get into the b and b. tricky but instructions are good. parking pass available from host, but you’ll never find a place - reserved ahead of time through parkmeter at the sas garage about 8 min walk. from there it’s a 20 min walk to the old town. our host josefina was incredible - very helpful and gave us a great breakfast in morning. even a to go one when we left early. rooms are comfortable, and AC worked great in the summer. be aware this is a B and B - you have a themed room (music, art etc) which are locked and open to a common area. individual locked private bathrooms but you go through the common area to get to them. would definitely go again - thank you Josefina!!

Enjoyable stay in Genoa

Great location with easy access to station. Lovely, very helpful host. Good communication prior to arrival. Good selection at breakfast. Comfortable air conditioned room with separate modern, clean private bathroom. A great alternative to impersonal hotels.

Great place to spend the night if passing through

Coming by train from Marsielle/Monaco passing through to Rome we thought it was a good place to spend the night, cheap and close to the train. A woman greeted and showed us around, we got a big room, seperate bathroom and dining area. It looked like there were a few rooms on a apartment floor. It felt a little unusual to us, we being used to hotel rooms. Our room had some sort of damage on the wall to the left so a little downside but since the staff was so kind and thorough our experience was one of the better ones, we even got offerd coffe and cake!

Mischung zwischen Arbnb, Hostel, BB

Das BB Tube befindet sich direkt über dem Bahnhof und ist mit Zug und Metro innert 5 Min. zu erreichen. Mittels Telefonanruf öffnet sich die Türe unten am Gebäude. Es befindet sich in der 3. Etage (nicht rollstuhlgängig oder gut für alte Leute). In der 3 Etage den Code eingeben, den man vorgängig erhält. Sowie den Zimmernamen (es sind 7 oder 8 Zimmer, jedes mit anderem Namen). Gewisse Zimmer haben Bad und WC, andere müssen auf der Etage zu den Toiletten, welche den gleichen Namen haben wie ihr Zimmer. Der Aufenthalts- und Frühstücksraum befindet sich am Gang zu den Duschen/WC. Und wenn sich dort Personen befinden, welche etwas trinken, oder den gratis Kaffee- und Kuchen geniessen, oder am Abend dort in Unterwäsche rumstehen und diskutieren, nicht für alle angenehm. Zimmer sind voller Material (Schallplatten, Musikgeräte) und haben wenig Platz. Ein Schrank im Zimmer ist ebenfalls vollgeräumt. Wenn man schon über den Gang in das Badezimmer muss, wäre ein Bademantel angenehm. Unser Zimmer war Bahnhofseite und daher laut und hell. Es hat keine Verdunkelungsvorhänge, so dass es im Zimmer die ganze Nacht hell war. Das Frühstück sosolala (siehe Foto). Wer damit einverstanden ist, hat dort eine kostengünstige Unterkunft.

Our room at BB Tube was very nice, every day cleaned by the staff, including fresh towels. The room had a TV, an AC and enough space for two people. The breakfast is really good, with Luigi asking you every day about your desired sweet pastry, which he buys freshly from the bakery, and other fresh things in buffet style. The whole B&B has a culturally but modern interior. Classy, self-made pictures and a lot of sophisticated books round up the whole idea of the place.

Like you are home!

The people that own this bb tube treat you like family! They talk to you they tell you were to go in the city they also feed you all day long with very good food! Please if you read this you must stay there! I loved every thing about bb tube and it’s right next to the train station ! Look at my pictures you can see your room from the train and all the great food they put out for you!!
