"The outside needs to be kept more clean. Outside by the pool, the fire pits are seldom lit because there’s no gas & no one keeps the propane full. The staff & valet are fantastic!!!!"

In 2026 I expect complementry shower gel but they only provided bar soap. The breafast was not good and the coffee was horrible. It does look like updates have been made and the overall property was clean."

"There was nothing about the property that really made me like it. However, it wasn't the cleanest. The bathroom floor had something on it. The bathtub kept filling up while we took showers. Which tells me the drain wasn't working well. The young lady at the front desk was made aware. She said there was nothing she could do about it. They were understaffed. I would not book here again."

"The room was great...beds were comfy (even the pullout sofa bed according to my daughter), temp was easily controlled, all things good. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL...much more than I was expecting for a free breakfast. Omelets, biscuits, gravy, sausage, yogurt, cinnamon rolls (probably better than I've made myself), pancakes, fruit, etc. My whole family (2 adults and 3 kids) found something to start our day right. The lady that kept breakfast stocked was SO kind and made sure that there was plenty there for everyone. The rest of the staff were just as kind and friendly...and not "fake kind" and "this is just a job friendly." They laughed with us and were very genuine. We travel often and can say that this is one of the best places we've stayed. We'll definitely choose this HIX when we visit the area again!"

One of the staff members stated he may not be able to change us to another room due to the number of guests they had; however Ms Gabby stepped in and changed us to the room we paid for. She was so helpful and greeted us with a smile and friendly word every time she saw us."
