Overwater Bungalow at Georgetown

Welcome to our Overwater Bungalow. As you enter, you'll be charmed by the spacious living area, adorned with tropical decor, framing the panoramic sea views through large glass doors.

The private deck, complete with loungers, offers unobstructed views of waters. A convenient ladder descends directly into the crystal-clear water, inviting spontaneous dips. This bungalow is equipped with modern amenities like a kitchenette and high-speed WiFi, ensuring a comfortable stay.

If you’d like to arrive a bit earlier, we’re happy to offer early check-in (based on availability) for a $40 fee. Please feel free to reach out the day before to confirm availability, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Wow,wow,WOW! What an awesome stay. This was such a treat from the moment we arrived. Felt like movie stars. Super clean inside. Great amenities. Walk directly down into the ocean! Paul was very responsive and gave great direction on things. It was very safe and secluded for my wife and I. All amenities needed for making breakfast. Hot showers every night. The bed was fantastic. We slept like babies with the soothing sounds of the ocean outside. Sat out on the deck at night with some cocktails and star gazed. Such a fun getaway for a couple. Close to town and the southern side beaches. We will reach out to Paul when we come back next year. Highly recommend.

Stayed for 7 days of absolute heaven! Rodman was overly accommodating. The bungalow was perfect for our couples getaway. The bungalow itself was clean, had unbelievable views, great amenities such as a toaster, coffee pot, air fryer, hair dryer, steamer, snorkeling gear and floating rafts. The deck was my favorite as I sat and watched turtles and stingrays everyday of our stay! Would highly recommend!
I could read in bed all day with this view!

the views are indescribable! You wake up with water all around you and your own private deck, where you can watch the sting rays, sea turtles and starfish right through the crystal clear water! Our cottage/room was sufficient for our week vacation. My only improvement would be larger bathroom and hooks on wall for hanging clothes. Pretty minor for our 5 star trip!

This is our second stay here. We just had to come back to enjoy the expansive view of the ocean right from where we sleep. Got to see stingrays, turtles, fish, and starfish from the deck and used the kayaks to explore the area. Amenities were great along with the very comfortable bed! We highly recommend staying here. It’s a one of a kind location on the island. Quite a magical place!

We want to be objective about our review, so we're going to list pros and cons. Pros: 1. GORGEOUS view. Waking up to those crystal blue waters everyday was truly an experience. It felt like being on a ship without the sea sickness. 2. Up close encounters with marine life. We saw 3 sharks, 2 barracuda, many sea turtles, cassiopea jelly fish and lots of tropical fish. 3. Comfortable furniture and bed. Clean linens.4. View of sunrise and sunset. Cons:1. Not clean. Sand on floors, hair and dust bunnies under bed and in corners, dirty floor boards, stained mattress with no mattress pad.2. Bungalow appears worn in person. Scuff marks on walls and floor boards, cracks in drywall throughout the bungalow, door wouldn't shut unless it was slammed and the door handle was very loose because of this. One of the sliding glass doors is missing a handle. 3. Minimalist design TOO extreme. The design is great for photos, but not at all practical or comfortable for the renter. There was only an armoire to put all our things. End tables were just cubes and had no drawers. Toiletries had to be placed on the floor in the bathroom. The kitchen was not functional and there is no counterspace to eat. There is no microwave. 4. No ladder to reach steps leading into the ocean. Made it difficult to get back onto the deck. 5. Dangerous place to pull out onto the road. 6. Communication was hit or miss. Overall, we expected much better at this price point.

Slice of Heaven

We absolutely loved staying at this bungalow. It provided all essentials needed for a low key vacation. We enjoyed the location being on the south end and exploring various beaches. My favorite part was watching and snorkeling off the dock & beach line with the turtles and two string rays. There were a few sharks that swam by the dock as well that were a bit scary but the overall snorkeling around the area was fantastic. The artificial jetty/reef on the south side of the property had gorgeous fish everywhere. The large floating Lilly pad was a great edition as well. Everything was decorated so tasteful and we loved the light airy feel of the villa. (BTW Great mattress and linens) We would definitely come back and stay again.

Overwater paradise

This was an amazing start to our two and a half week stay in Exuma. The villa is gorgeous and well appointed. It is more spacious than I was expecting. We had a great time hanging out on the deck watching all the sea life in the crystal clear water. We saw nurse sharks, turtles, colorful fish and an octopus! This is a must stay!

Amazing stay

We loved our stay on the overwater bungalow. This place was a wonderful place to unwind and have some chill time. There are several beaches to explore on the west side/little Exuma, however, we found it difficult to leave this little slice of heaven. We enjoyed the semi-private beach, kayaks, and really enjoyed watching the sealife just outside our private deck. We saw sting ray, sharks, turtles and lots of little fish around the dock. Such a cool place to stay.

Best trip ever

This place was amazing! Absolutely stunning view and so comfy! Perfect location, not too far from anything. We rented a jeep (a MUST!) and rented a boat from Minn’s one day (absolute MUST!) Exuma is gorgeous and this property is perfect! They had literally everything (even a waterproof speaker, snorkel gear, ice machine, espresso, and a 2 person kayak!) Make sure you know the name of the compound when you go through customs though!

Great Getaway!!

Breathtaking!

Overwater Bungalow is AMAZING! The accommodations were first class, sunsets were stunning and the water was beautiful. Very private and secluded, with gorgeous views of the water from all 3 sides with a beach that we had to ourselves. The host was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had all we needed for our stay. I love this place, we will be back!!

Anniversary Trip

Had a wonderful trip. This place is right on the water and amazing. We swam in the calm water and saw sea turtles by day and watched the stars at night. Rodman was an excellent host and very responsive.

Amazing property over the water

The home sits on the water with a nice large deck with steps that lead directly into the water. From the deck we were able to spot several spotted eagle rays, and sea turtles that came within feet of the property. The home is well cared for, clean, and the property manager quickly responded to our needs. The listing doesn’t do the property justice, you must see for yourself. Highly recommend!!

AMAZING Bungalow!

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary trip staying in this beautiful bungalow. From arrival to check out we received excellent communication from the team managing this property. Upon arrival we were greeted and showed all the amenities. The property was EXTREMELY clean and the linens were clean, smelled good, and comfortable to sleep in. The staff paid great attention to detail with all items needed to cook even though the kitchenette was small. The countertop ice maker was a great addition. They also had a yoga mat for some yoga sessions on the back deck, i loved this. The property has its own small private beach area with umbrellas and chaise lounges. There are also new stand up paddleboards and kayaks available for your use. We went out on the water to paddle and saw starfish (tons) and rays just north west of the property about 100 yards. We also saw a turtle one morning right off the deck. We absolutely LOVED our stay and will be back!!

Incredible place!

Such a beautiful place, looks even better in person. Super clean, tidy, plenty of extra towels and linens. Spectacular views, waking up to the water. Paddle boards and kayaks on the property available for use. Hands down one of the most special places I've stayed in.
