Hôtel Restaurant de la JamagneGerardmer
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (111 reviews)
"We stayed one night with half board for a quick trip to the Vosges. The hotel is very nice, modern, and clean with good parking. We used the pool, which was relaxing after a longish drive. We did not take advantage of the spa, although the treatments on offer seemed good (and I was tempted by the back massage). The dinner was great. It was a four-course meal with fresh salad and a very well appointed cheese selection. Before our departure, we also used the ping pong table in the garden, which...

"Très bel hôtel dans un cadre magnifique. Tout est très soigné : l’accueil, la décoration, l’équipement des chambres, la literie. Un petit déjeuner extraordinaire, comme on aimerait en voir plus souvent dans les hôtels 4 étoiles.
Le spa est formidable également."

Hotel des Bains
Hotel des BainsGerardmer
10/10 Excellent
While the outside isn't really much to look at (when we pulled-up, I was thinking 'no wonder we got such a great rate'), I would definitely stay at the Hotel des Bains next time I go to Gerardmer.
It's a straightforward, old-style hotel. However, our room was nicely decorated and thoroughly cleaned each day; there's a great combo-bar/lounge/café off the lobby with a free Internet connected-computer and widescreen TV (mainly used by kids); and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
