"Property was as described. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Four of the five bedrooms are spacious, one is rather cramped with a sloping roof. Some might find the noise of the constant water flow distracting, we found it soothing. The village is quaint and authentic in an agricultural area but its quite far to go to get supplies. We loved this place, we were all adults but I think there would be too little to do for children."

"We had a lovely week here in August. The pool was great for the kids and the peace, quiet and lovely wine was great for the adults. The village is a nice setting and also very quiet this time of year but the local town of Bar-sur-Aube had everything we needed. Location is great with the theme park of Nigloland just 15 minutes away and the wonderful town of Troyes also near for a change of scenery. "Really nice gite, it was well equipped and very clean, lovely owners and perfectly located for visiting Troyes, Lac d’Orient & Nigloland. The village is lovely and quiet and the local bakeries sell beautiful bread and pastries. It was so hot we could have done with fans to cool us."

"Lyon, Rouen, Lille, Senlis...toute la famille s'est rejointe près de Troyes dans ce magnifique gite où l'on se sent "comme à la maison". Marie et Aurelien nous ont très très bien accueillis. Magnifique lieu avec prestations de luxe *****, où nous pouvons vivre tous ensemble tout en ayant chacun son petit coin privé. Je recommande à 12000% cet endroit."

" We had 11 people stay (5 kids, 6 adults) and could accomodate all of us in the 3 bedrooms and 2 in the lounge. The rural location was superb with the lakes/beaches a short drive away, the L Aube river 'beach' with rope swing, the pool and Nigloland. Sylvie was incredibly helpful and responsive. We did have some issues with the leaking following some heavy thunderstorms. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and meeting the sheep."

"Le gîte Chez Marcel se situe dans un village de l'aube. La localisation nous a permis de visiter les environs (Troyes, forêt d'orient, Nigloland et autres villages/châteaux). La maison nous a semblé plus grande que sur les photos, au calme avec vue sur les vignes de champagne. Ça reste une maison de campagne donc une souris était rentré dans la maison pendant notre séjour. Le village n'est pas des plus vivant à part les viticulteurs ! On a tout de même bien profité."

"The property is huge. Very spacious, four bedrooms, and a large bathroom. Lovely terrace surrounding a great pool. There were loads of things to do - table tennis, pool, air hockey etc to keep the teens happy even in poor weather. The host also makes custom game cabinets so we played a lot of pinball. Lesmont is a lovely little village 30 minutes from Troyes, surrounded by arable farms. There is a well-stocked supermarket 10km away. We had a really nice break and would definitely stay here...

"Die Unterkunft ist für kurze Aufenthalte gut geeignet. Es sollte aber auf jeden Fall ein Schneidemesser mitgebracht werden, da diese in der Küche nicht vorhanden sind. Auch sollte sich darauf eingestellt werden, dass das Badezimmer direkt vom Schlafzimmer abgeht und keine Tür sondern lediglich eine Duschvorhang als Abgrenzung vorhanden ist."
