"I went to Homer to see the birthplace of my Grandmother. The hotel was only one block from the downtown square. The manager was friendly and helpful, but the hotel was in bad need of renovation. It served my need, but could not recommend it for longer than a one night stay."

Our hosts, Kimberly and Jim, were wonderful--friendly, welcoming, accomodating and breakfast was amazing. We had 4 choices of delicious breakfasts to choose from and a choice of the time being served. To our surprise, they brought to our room a wonderful evening snack and drink. We would highly recommend the Huffman House.

The stay was perfect...just not sure about the housekeeping portion. I thought each day the sheets are changed and your bed is made. I left a pair of socks in my sheets that I happened to take off during the night. When I returned later that day after being gone for the day, I expected to either see my socks on the nightstand or on the bed, they were not there in either location. I pulled back the covers of the bed and my sock were still in the bed. That tells me that all the housekeeping staff...

The room was in good condition for the price. Iāve stayed here several times while working in the area. The front desk clerk that are normally there a young man and sometimes young lady are usually very pleasant and welcoming. On this particular night it was an older guy he seemed to be the owner of the property. He was very rude and wouldnāt answer me when I asked him if everything was ok. He gave me a dirty look when I confirmed if it was a smoking room and never answered me.
