Thoroughly impressed to see housekeeping staff everywhere dedicated to tasks they were doing. Truly a cut above. A woman was cleaning and polishing the elevator. Sharing the space with her as we changed floors was inspirational. Very satisfied with sleep quality, furnishings and above all, the staff. A hotel this size gets all kinds of patrons. I had never stayed in a hostel before, but I was coming to town to do research at the National Archives, and did not need a whole hotel room that I was never going to be in. The beds were comfortable, all of the other guests were respectful and clean, and I got to interact with a variety of people from different places. We stayed at the Tempo with our kids and had a great stay. The location was great for exploring the city. This is one of the only hotels I’ve seen offer two king beds which was a huge bonus, not to mention the beds were super comfy! The hotel was clean and the staff was super friendly. Their espresso martini at the bar in the best one I’ve ever had! Richard providing excellent service in the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again!
