"We booked this hotel for 2 main reasons: near the town centre; parking with EV charging. Parking was fine. EV charging a little strange as a bank of 2 Tesla + 2 other chargers were all at the side of the hotel, with only room for 2 cars, but the need to shuffle cars when 1 finished first. The fixed charge of €50 was bit steep. They charge pro-rata for less than 100%, but it is not metered. The location is great, within easy walking distance of the town centre. The hotel goes a bit overboard with the Belle Epoque look inside. It is a bit over fussy. Our room was on the top floor, with winding stairs and no lift. The air conditioning did not work, and we were moved to a slightly larger room. The bathrooms are miniscule. There is no restaurant (although a very good breakfast), but you can walk to the sister hotel for dinner. There is no bar and little service throughout the day."
