"Wonderful experience! A stately & historical large ryokan nested on the eastern hill slope of Gero town. My second stay at this ryokan & will continue to stay there next time I am in Gero. Very good vista of the town in the morning or evening. Very large garden & landscape, with tall tress & seasonal flower trees.or bushes.. a beautiful & varied feast for the eyes & senses if one come at different seasons... Has its own hotel museum to showcase it's checkered history & early artifacts, etc....

"Overall, it was quiet, cosy and clean. Value for money. There were a number of facilities in the basement that were closed/covered hence not usable. Deco and room is clean but looks wise of hotel/lobby/room is/looks dated. Would suggest to remove the protection cap or cover or replace with a bigger one so that it fits universal travel adaptors as 2 out of 3 wall plugs was not usable due to universal travel adaptor not able to fit and have to resort to using the powerpoints for the TV /...

"Nice cosy place, The walk to nearby park and village i Make this access so good . Definitely a good choice for onsen visit . The 8th floor onsen view is cooling and great to be in. "

"The property is slightly dated & the style of the rooms in the main block were old. However its public bath/ hotspring (i.e. onsen) were newly decorated & very roomy / well-lighted. It would be perfect if the rooms are facing the river which is the major HIGHLIGHT of the Gero township. The breakfast was excellent & recommend fellow travellers to also book dinner with the hotel as there is basically not many restaurants nearby in a hotspring township like this."

"The hotel was larger than what I expected. I was told there were limited time to check in, if I missed the time I might need to check in the next day, so I thought the hotel was very small. But it was a bit complicate to change elevators to locate the restaurants and different onsens. There were free parking and the parking lot was quite close to the hotel building."

"How do I put this? I wish I could stay there for more days. It was so relaxing and worry free staying there. Room was clean, staff were top notch, all the details were just perfect!"
