"The Carlton was modern with nice rooms and pretty grounds. Staff was great, scheduled transportation early in the morning to the airport. Surrounding area was questionable, lots of graffiti and we felt a little unsafe on a couple of our walks. But, the hotel has a restaurant and bar onsite."

"Chosen for proximity to Bologna Central station. Sometimes hotels in these areas aren't the best this was pleasantly positive. Quiet, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. The included breakfast was more substantial than I expected, a nice added value. Recommend!"

The shuttle is great but it would be nice if they had an earlier shuttle is by the time you got there at 4:00 when the airport opens the lines are incredibly long. Other than that excellent and we would stay again."
