"The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good and also there were many different channels available on the tv.
The building was old but all the important functions worked ea toilet, bath, windows etc"
"If you enjoy staying in small friendly hotels that are old Danish then this is a nice place. The restaurant is dark wood paneling from another time. Books and pictures from long ago decorate the dinning room. The food is very good and good quality. I recommend having dinner on the first night. We had dinner there each night of our three night stay. "

From there A 50 minute drive to Billund - Legoland.

"unique property with lots of character and history. Beautiful main building common areas. Well maintained and clean. the Royal apartment side of the main building is older and the configuration of 2nd floor main bathroom is paradoxical, effectively isolating one of the bedrooms. Kitchen is small and associated with a small servant type bedroom. Overall a unque and worthwhile experience to live like nobility of that age. "

"Lalandia water dome is excellent, with flumes and water fun for kids of all ages. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were old and lumpy. Good location for legoland but some properties are a 20 min walk from the activity centre and main entrance. Some offers, like booking linen on-line, are only available for if you book direct, which is frustrating. Extra charges for water, heating and electricity, which for us cost âŹ17, in the Summer."
