"The house was charming and quirky and filled with character. We all fell in love with it! The bedrooms were spacious and the living space was great. We loved that the dining table had room for all 8 of us. The grounds were beautiful and the kids loved catching fish, roasting marshmallows and playing on the swing. The location was so convenient but away from the crowds. The host responded to our questions and needs promptly. We had a great stay!"

"I have stayed in many home rentals over the years and this is one of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen. Arrival and check in was super easy and we were greeted with a welcome basket and a card. The house is old and historic and restored in the most amazing way with an attention to detail and every room filled with art. The house is surrounded by greenery and farms and not too far from Carlisle. Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating, I could not ask for a nicer stay. Thank you!"

"We booked for Memorial Day Weekend for a softball tournament with another family. Very convenient location to the fields. The house was clean and updated. Directions and communication were clear and easy to follow. I would definitely stay there again."

"Enjoyed our trip with our doggo. The downstairs rental had surprisingly large bedrooms and a very large bathroom, which was nice where we had little ones running around. It's a historic building so if you like the vintage charm and quirks, it's great and a great value. If you're accustomed to more polished accommodations, this may not be for you. the yard is huge and my kids had fun playing in the snow. Also, there are goats next door. Did I mention the goats?"

"The farmhouse was perfect for our family! A short drive to Seth Grove Stadium for the PIAA State Track and Field meet, I wish we would have found this property 3 years ago!! They have everything you need, fully stocked house, and Walmart is literally 4 minutes away for groceries. Our family hosted our athletes and coaches for a swim and a cookout after day 1 of competition and it was just what they needed to relax and prepare for day 2! Tons of space both indoors and outdoors for them to hangout...

"The farmhouse is beautifully restored as the listing says. Tons is nice little touches and great overall ambiance. Kids (ages 9-17) loved the top floor kid pad. Adults enjoyed spacious bedrooms. Kitchen was well appointed. I took a morning run and very much enjoyed the countryside view. Love how remote it is! Would definitely book again."
