"We got a flat tire on the way not far from the hotel. We got the donut on and made it the last leg to the hotel. But we had a long trip ahead the next day and the donut spare is only good for about 50 miles and it was a Saturday night- everything closed until Monday. We were scheduled to take a ferry to Malta the next day. The front desk found a tire shop and knew someone who could repair it. A life saver at 21:30! They went over the top to help us. "

"The villa is in a fantastic position, and the view is amazing. The area is hilly and there are 99 steps back up from the square with some of the restaurants. Not ideal for the less mobile of people. We hired a car but the road is full of cars and the owner has constant access to the drive and garage alongside the front door. I had to park quite a way down the street, not ideal when you hire what is meant to be a private villa. Not as private an area as I would have expected or wanted.The villa is fine and the pool area is perfect, the disconnect between the villa and pool can be a little annoying when you have to lock the door when you utilise the outside areas.Overall, it is a lovely villa and a fantastic location, but the negatives mean we would not return, mainly due to the owners use of the garage at anytime day or night."
