"This is a really good place to stay, you do have to share the dock and patio with other people but we enjoyed both families that were there at the same time and they were nice enough to give us some fishing pointers for the area. Comfy beds, clean, maybe could use some more kitchen tools, plenty of dishes. We really enjoyed being close enough and far enough from New Orleans. Easy trip to New Orleans. "I had a very enjoyable weekend at Da Boat House. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were on a fishing trip so we were able to buy our baits from Legacy Custom Tackle. Sean was also kind enough to point out fishing spots since we were new to that area. The accommodations were right on the bayou so if you don't have a boat you can fish off the back of the property."
