"Vintage roadside motel vibes. The very kind owner checked me in around 8:30pm. The room is quirky/quaint with 1980s feel/decor. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, and it was completely quiet at night. (In fact, I think I may have heard Coyotes in the distance). Internet worked well cable television. If you are looking for fancy, this is not for you. If you are looking to crash for a night or two at a good rate, this is a great option. "We had a wonderful stay at the Shandaken Inn - it really exceeded our expectations. The property is lovely and the inn is extremely well maintained and comfortable. Everything you need is right there. The outdoor dining area looks out to the open space and the surrounding mountains. We loved sitting around the fire pit later in the evening and enjoyed meeting other guests as well. The food was great - breakfast choices were abundant and dinner was delicious. The staff was wonderful and helped make our stay utterly enjoyable. We will definitely return. "
