"We vacationed here for a ski weekend with 4 families - 8 adults and 6 kids. Overall it was a fine house. I wish I had realized the large bunk room is in the loft over the family room. While it was appealing to let the kids have a sleep over it made no sense to put them over the family room unless all the parents were going to go to bed at 8pm. We ended up putting the kids in the smaller bunk room with walls and my husband and I slept out in the open bunk room. Not a big deal, but something to...

There were a couple communication mishaps, but I think that was more related to the app than anything. Joseph was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole weekend. I have definitely noted this place for a return visit in the winter!"

"We’ve been visiting Chautauqua for years and this was by far our best trip yet. The chalet was beautiful and very well stocked with all the essentials and then some!! Communication with the owners was great. We were able to hike and explore the property, play in the snow, enjoy some of the local wineries, then wind down to relax by the cozy fireplace. "We had a fantastic stay at the Hirox. Joshua kept in contact well before our arrival in order to pre-heat the residence, which was a very lovely and personable touch. You can tell that Joshua really cares for this property and for the guests that stay in it. The pictures were quite accurate, including the beautiful views from the balcony!
