We really loved staying here, even booked a second night! The cozy cabin with the real wood stove was great. Although the cabin is older, it had a perfect vibe to it. Shower pressure and temps were good and bed was comfy. Would happily come back again. Great communication from the hosts was also a great bonus!

We were looking for some privacy for a few days away in the mountains. We found this property and it was everything we were looking for. A small cabin sitting back off the road in a natural setting. Clean, private with a fireplace. We look forward to a return visit soon.

I stayed in the Hemlock cabin. It was a quick visit but the cabin was exactly what I needed - relaxing. It set in the back of the property in a secluded area. The setting of being in a wooded area with snow on the ground was perfect. Wilderness Inn is in a excellent location. Close to Whiteface Mountain and many of the high peaks hiking trails.

I’d definitely stay again!!

We had a great stay! Highly recommend!! I specifically booked this cabin for the kitchen but didn’t end up cooking. It looked to have all the basics you would need to prep meals. The bed was super comfy, couch was cozy to read and watch tv. Bathroom and shower were all we needed. The cabin was super cute and communication was on point. Less than 5 min to Whiteface and the High falls gorge plus some other trails. Loved it!!

Overall beautiful property and cozy cabins! Yann (one of the owners) was absolutely delightful to deal with. He was very communicative and friendly! From my understanding he and Robert recently took over this property. They have very obvious pride in ownership and in what they do. The grounds were well taken care of and even tastefully decorated for the fall season. Everything worked well, cabin had a real wood burning stove that was available for use, and the bed was actually comfortable. Very nicely located in proximity to Whiteface MountIn. Would stay here again if I was in the area to ski or returning for business as I was in this trip.

Great 2 night stay!

Had a really nice 2 night stay. Clean Room. Shower, Hot water. Refrigerator and Microwave (although we didn't need to use them). Bed was comfortable and super quiet all around. Few minor improvements could include changing the lock. I had to fiddle around with it to lock it every time. The bathroom could use few Hooks behind the door to hand clothes. Just minor stuff. Excellent stay otherwise. Will book here again for our next Whiteface Mountain area trip! Another thing I'd suggest for the owner to post a warning about Pine Sap falling on your car if you park under the trees. My car smelled so good in the morning after the rain but it has been a nightmare to clean them off the windshield as well as the body of the car. I wish I had known about it as I had a disposable cover I could have used.

We found the cabin to be clean and the beds comfortable. The communication from the owners was excellent and the keys were right where they said that they would be. There was a nice looking fireplace, but we could not take advantage of it as we did not bring anything to start a fire. But it is a nice amenity to have. A couple of improvements that we would suggest: Better outdoor lighting. What is there is adequate but could be improved. Maybe provide signage to let folks know where to park? We were there in dark, rainy conditions and had difficulty figuring out what they meant by "parking is across the way by the trees". Which trees? And 2 reading lamps by the beds would be nice. That said we would have no problem staying there again or recommending this property to anyone traveling in the area.

The cabin was clean but very dated. It was orderly and adequate. The property generally seemed to be in a state of disrepair but no real problems. The image shows an active well lit property, it was not, the main building seemed to be abandoned. We did enjoy our stay.

When we came it was over 80 degrees in the room at 10pm. We didn't dream to check if it had air conditioning. I called the manager and he said there was usually a fan but that none were available. The room stifling. We left 10 minutes later. We have booked through Expedia many times and have never had this experience before. This was not acceptable.
