It was super quiet and very clean, but I think there were only 2 rooms rented on the night I was there so I can't tell when it's packed. The bed was comfy, the room was clean.. not much to say, it was perfect for a one night stay, and I could have stayed a couple of nights there without issues. Hotels.com seems to be pressuring people to book fast by displaying the wrong number of available rooms though. One advice: shop around.

Quiet little hotel with charm around 20 or so minutes from Lake Placid. The staff is very nice and worked hard to plow with all the snow we had. I appreciated the electric fireplace in my room to help make it toasty.

Check-in was contact-free, I received 2 emails telling me which room we were in and what the code was for the door. The room was large with two comfortable double beds, plenty of really nice pillows, and comfortable bedding. The room was super clean and attractively furnished. There was a coffee maker with 4 packets each of two different types of coffee, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer. We were very pleased and will stay there again when we're in the area.
