"We stayed here on our way to Crater Lake National Park. The Woodsman Country Lodge was wonderful, very cozy and friendly. Quirky, definitely not like your cutout hotel chain experience. We loved it.

"Checking in was a breeze and the home was just as described, the perfect getaway for family and friends. Maple parking and more than enough space for the whole family. We weren't able to have a campfire due to the fire season but we were still able to make memories at Crescent lake on the sandy beaches. Wonderful hosts and very quick responses. Will definitely stay here again. "
"We had an incredible stay in Gilchrist, OR — truly a hidden gem! The property offered fantastic outdoor amenities like kayaking, core boards, yard games, bags, and a great patio for grilling and relaxing. The owners, descendants of the family that originally built the town and its mill, were exceptionally hospitable and friendly. It was refreshing to support a locally owned business in an age where so much has gone corporate. Some next-level upgrades to the property really stood out, and our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious — perfect for our stop on the way to Crater Lake. Excellent value and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!"

"Great location to horseback riding, hikes and water activities. Plenty of space to park three cars. We used both indoors and outdoor patios and the hot tub. Our two families of four stayed here (four 50 yo and four teens), and there was enough space we weren’t on top of each other. The home is private and is clean, too! If we are in the area, we will certainly stay again! La Pine itself I wish I had more time in, because two full days is not near enough!"
"We spent the day at Crater Lake and chose to stay at Eagle Crater Lake Inn for the night. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a room with two large beds that were separated by a doorway. The hotel is right off of the highway (we found this convenient) but if the road noise bothers you, bring a sound machine. We were so tired the road didn’t bother us at all! The family running the place was so nice and helpful. They have a small continental breakfast in the morning, which is nice since there aren’t a lot of dining options in the town. I would definitely stay here again!"
