This motel is inexpensive & ok if you need somewhere to rest overnight. The night we stayed however there were 3 young people in the room next door swearing & crying & arguing half the night. The manager surely must have heard it! Bed was clean & comfy & the room had a lovely big tv but the shower & floors not the cleanest.

Alfa Motel Great for overnight stay in Gilgandra

This was a very comfortable & relaxing overnight stay after almost 7 hours of driving. We would definitely stay at the Alfa again.

Very neat tidy room freshly painted, exceptional value, everything we needed for one night stay passing through, very friendly and helpful gentleman at reception, accommodated us and our little dog and even helped out with a phone charger :)

Clean room. Good aircon / heater. Friendly / helpful management. Property appeared to be old and in need of refurbishment. Short drive to supermarket, bottle shop and very nice fish and chips shop.

This motel is reasonably priced. It is pet friendly. Management are good to deal with and it is conveniently located. Unfortunately the rooms are somewhat subpar on the cleanliness level. There are a number of maintenance issues. Also, last night was very cold and there were only 2 thin blankets on the bed.

Clean Comfy and great value!

We chose this Motel for location and price on the road from Melbourne to Goondiwindi. The rooms were clean & comfy. Definitely a good decision and great value. The manager was accommodating and even though we arrived at 9:30 pm, welcomed us and ensured we checked in hassle free. A coleague lost his phone and thought it might be in the room. I called the motel, the manager found the phone and called us back so we could return and pick it up. I'd stay again in a heartbeat, best night's sleep in a motel for ages!

DON'T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT VERMIN RUNNING ON.

The worst place i have ever stayed at...... I was woken up by mice/ rats running around the room and on my bed. Called the desk area with no answer. Ended up having to sleep in my car... Not impressed, DO NOT STAY HERE UNLES YOU VERMIN RUNNING OVER YOU...............

The price is okay, good parking area. Easy to find the motel. Very dated room. There were soiled pillow cases. The shower taps were tightly turned off. Turns out they need new washers or taps, they leaked in the shower all night. We had a mouse running around the kitchen bench, it came through a hole in the morter just above the bench. I saw it run back in there, I plugged the hole with paper towel. Dirty shower and vanity.

Staff were excellent, room was quiet (room 3), bed extremely comfy, home cooked meal expensive but delicious ($22 for small bowl of peanut butter chicken and small bowl of rice), free undercover parking. The internet did not work which means the tv kept cutting out and my laptop and phone wouldn't connect at all. The air conditioning took almost 2 hours to get cold. Staff brought me a fan as it was a very hot day/night. The bathroom was old but it did include bath gel, shampoo etc. Be careful if you have children because the shower taps took a while to sort out and the water was ridiculously hot. I would be unlikely to stay here again unless it was a last resort

Good overnighter

Freindly welcome, owner helpful and happy to let us wash our bike. Only downside was unclean pillowslips on two pillows. Maybe just an oversight. Otherwise quiet and comfortable.
