"A nice hotel overall with some lovely features, but a few areas that could definitely be improved. The pool area is beautiful, with a really picturesque waterfall that makes it a great place to relax. However, do be careful as there are quite a few chipped areas around the pool where you could easily cut yourself. The poolside bar also felt a bit underwhelming—it looked quite empty and lacked atmosphere, so it could definitely do with being jazzed up a bit. One downside was the towels provided at the pool. They were quite small and only covered about half of the lounger, and when we asked for extra towels, we were told no, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast, on the other hand, was a highlight. It was included in our stay and started with a lovely bowl of fresh fruit and granola brought to the table, followed by a great selection of options like pancakes, salmon, avocado on toast, and eggs. The rooms were nice with pretty standard amenities, although the lighting wasn’t great for getting ready. One thing to note is that the bathrooms are outdoors, so if you’re not a fan of sharing your space with the occasional cockroach, ant, or lizard, this might not be the hotel for you. One suggestion would be for the hotel to offer bikes complimentary to guests. It feels a bit odd having to pay to use hotel bikes when you’re already staying there—it made it feel more like a rental shop than a hotel in that respect."

"Our stay at Kalandara Resort in Lombok was truly breath-taking. We chose this resort for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation—we did not regret our decision for a single moment. Little touches like slippers, Crocs for the infinity pool, and a Bluetooth speaker added a special charm to our experience and made our stay feel even more luxurious and personal. Every single member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and with great variety. The portions were generous, and we’re pretty sure we left having gained a few happy pounds! The resort itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. We truly miss our time at Kalandara Resort and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for helping us create such a special and unforgettable honeymoon memory."

"The place is very impressive as you enter into the reception. All staff are very welcoming and happy. We were seen to our room quickly with lovely refreshments. The room itself was well equipped and had an open shower so it felt fresh even in the rain. The breakfast has a wide choice of foods situated on the terrace over looking the pool. The room was beautiful and had great amount of outdoor seating for each villa. It was a very peaceful and wholesome stay and we could not thank the staff enough for making it feel special. At the front of the resort, there is a beautiful beach that belongs to them. A selection of sun loungers, hammocks and a beach swing to suit all. The only thing that can make the stay 10/10 is some small paint refreshments in the room ."

"Rooms we're perfect and very clean and smart. Pool areas we're good. Only thing that let's this property down is the staff, it is very hit and miss, some staff we're unbelievable and others we're rude. We rented 2 bikes and they both broke then we tried to use an adverstised Hotels.com bar discount and they took it really funny and tried to do anything not to give it us"
