There was ample parking outside too. Whilst the other guests weren’t in any way noisy, unfortunately the walls are very thin and I could hear the slightest noise very clearly."

"This was expensive for what it was but I guess there are a lot of tourists in Orkney and not a lot of accommodation! Over £200 a night for a small room, double bed (not king). The rate did include breakfast, which was adequate (order from list the night before). The hotel did have a restaurant - food was fine - and a bar and friendly barman. Staff were lovely altogether. I have never been to Orkney before so can’t make any comparisons but I suspect this may be among the better places to stay. Lots of room to park the car. Sea view."

Lovely breakfast, lots of choice even at 9am. The lads on duty in the evening were also lovely, but service was rather slow even before coach full of Australians arrived."
