"Our stay in Matera was amazing. The room was wonderful and our hostess could not have been any kinder. Breakfast was great and she even packed up focaccia for the road. The view of Matera from the roof was breathtaking. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Matera. "

"It was a beautiful place and we were quite comfortable. Our room was inside the main building and the rooms outside looked more private. No explanations of laundry facility and we couldn’t wash our clothes, our room had nowhere to dry or hang. Modern shower, good bathroom, fast internet. The breakfast was simple: fresh pastry, machine coffee, packed fruit juice, yogurt. "

"We really loved our stay here - not sure why the reviews are so bad. The farmhouse has been renovated and is gorgeous - you have a bedroom with another bed on a mezzanine for the kids. The rooms are clean and have aircon (thank goodness... it was 35 degrees :-)) There's parking right in front of your room and a big pool and pool area to use - if I understand correctly there is a small charge to use the pool but we were out every day until late so it didnt apply. "When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE.
