"We were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely quality of this B&B. Our room was very spacious, clean with modern facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful with prompt communication. There was plenty of free street parking very near the property. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of healthy options.
We walked to the beach and took a lovely swim in the sea at the end of October. It was a lovely beach.
There was a fantastic pizzeria in an easy walk away, and very inexpensive.

Although beware, the address provided in hotels.com is not the correct one. You must write on the GPS “Agriturismo Donna Teresa.” That is the correct address 🌟"

"When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. "Everything was very clean! The owners thought of everything. The rooms were very comfortable. Parking on site was great. We were offered breakfast for a small fee and it was very good.
There are even espresso machines in the rooms!
The owners are very lovely. I would definitely stay here again.
Easy to drive into town."

"What a wonderful place to stay! The hosts were extremely nice and the B&B was immaculate. In the morning we had a blast talking with the owners and enjoying the beautiful spread they made for breakfast. I would recommend this B&B to everyone!"

"Ce lieu est très bien entretenu. Chambres nickel, piscine de rêve, excellent petit déjeuner...
Mais il n'est pas possible de dormir en raison d'un concert d'aboiements de tous les chiens du quartier"

"Very enthusiastic young couple who own this beautifully restored historic house in a perfect location to visit the town of Matera. They did not speak much English, but whipped out their google translate for a very lively and enjoyable visit, including an amazing full breakfast of local produce."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, modern bathroom. Good location in old town. Room is on the 2nd floor, so you have two flights of stairs to climb. Common area with a full kitchen and sitting area. I was happy with my stay! "

"Absolutely perfect stay. Cannot fault any part of it. Room was beautiful, breakfast was fab, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. 100% recommend. "
"What an excellent experience. The service spectacular. Rooms so comfy that we slept so well. The spa is worth a try. Francesco and Simone did a great massage.
The service at the bar and breakfast fantastic"
"In the center of the cave properties, no parking , park outside , need to walk about 7 minutes minutes , receptionist was an older gentleman, not helpful, very little English, and somewhat unpleasant , if the property is restricted with parking, I think a detailed instructions how to park is necessary, he was not helpful at all!! But eventually we figured it out, that made the experience somewhat negative, and don’t be fooled by the pool, you need to pay for the time slot , a lot of walking to the room , it is expected for a cave hotel on the hill , the room was pretty far away from the reception area "
"Hotel staff did a great job helping us with the off site parking, though it does cost $15 one way and $20 on Sunday. That seemed a bit steep for a 5 minute taxi ride. Samir was very helpful with our luggage and also with recommendations. Room was very quiet and comfortable."
"Excellent hotel. Nice view to the ponte girevole. Very good services and personal attention. Excellent breakfast. Clean room with a lot of details. Recomended 100%."
"The location of the hotel could not be better. We were walking distance to the Piazza and the cathedral and some wonderful restaurants. There were views in every direction. There was a staircase right in front of the hotel that took us up to a spectacular spot. The breakfast were lovely at the staff who waited on us were just as delicious.I cannot say enough good things about the staff, from the front desk, reception area to the porters to the weight staff in the breakfast room everyone was simply dolcissimi! They were friendly, kind and helpful. I recommend a stay at this hotel if you are stopping in Matera, whether it be one night or a week you won’t regret it!"
"The closest parking garage was blocks away. In fact, you couldn’t get to this hotel by car. Definitely not for people with mobility issues like me. It would have been helpful if the staff gave clearer instructions and if they provided a phone number for taxi services for arriving guests.to at least get them close to the hotel."
