Friendly and helpful hosts at all stages, from booking to check out. They sent info on Matera early on and gave great suggestions for scenic walks and restaurants. The room was quiet, basic and comfortable. Just a 5-minute walk to an entrance into one of the sassi, and most key sites and activities are walkable.

Great base from which to visit amazing Matera. Parking right in front, and free. Confortable, clean, well maintained. Nicola was quite helpful with advice about visits. Gladly recommended.

The accommodation is in an excellent location for exploring Matera, as it is just a 10 minutes walk into the ancient old town and you can park you car in the road outside the apartment. Our apartment was perfect for a family, as it had a comfortable king-size bed in one room, with a second very long bedroom comprising of 3 single beds. The rooms were very clean and with towels and toiletries provided and there was a good Wi-Fi signal. The bathroom door didn't shut properly, so that needs addressing and it would be helpful if there was a lock on it. There is access to an outside yard area from the apartment, but unfortunately this area doesn't seem to be maintained by the property. Breakfast was ok, although I feel there could have been more choice of cereals and pastries on offer. Overall, for the price, it offers very good value for money and the hosts were very helpful in providing maps and information on what we should visit in the town.

Potendo avremmo dato più di 5 stelle, Nicola è un ospite fantastico, si vede che ama la sua città, ci ha dato un sacco di informazioni utili per ottimizzare la visita, con tanto di piantina con segnato il percorso migliore per visitare tutta Matera.
