"There was a reservation glitch & we were moved to a similar location, which turned out alright. The owner was on site and very apologetic, even offering us an extra night (which we were unable to stay for). It's a very nice setting and our stay was comfortable. We would consider staying there again & maybe bringing another couple along to stay in the sister space."

"Amazing views and the place is as decribed. We enjoyed the location and views very much. Cozy tiny home with beautiful town and privacy, great for bringing a dog. Loved the amount of technology and what was provided. For future bookers, just know that the bathroom situation is definitely rough, which they did warn us of. It is a basic camping toilet without water, so staying for several days and around bugs makes it tough, but right for a camping experience. Other than that everything else was...

"Okay, if you want to be close to downtown Elkin (restaurants, shops, theater) and want to have a comfy, practical home base, this is your spot. This was our second stay here (and we plan to stay here again and again). The owners and support staff deserve all five stars in all the categories above. Got to explore Elkin more this time and enjoyed the trails (with foot bridges) and the vineyards and the Reeves Theater (music venue). Restaurants in downtown Elkin are great in terms of quality...

"We wished we had stayed here longer, but even with our short stay, this place was incredible! The views are gorgeous, the cabin was very comfortable and stocked with anything you'd need. The kids loved the game room and family room and we all enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the mountains."

"We loved staying at this cozy home in Galax. Communication was quick and consistent from the start. The house and property was immaculate. The home was just as described but even better in person.
