A group of 6 of us (2 couples and 2 sisters) enjoyed 3 nights in this beautifully converted church house. It truly felt so welcoming and homely with all the extra little touches, pantry staples and tasteful decor. At the same time it was a classy conversion that made you feel like you were staying somewhere that little bit special and unique.
It is perfect for a Winter stay with the open fire adding a further aesthetic warmth.
One suggested improvement would be to replace the bunk beds with two singles, or a single and double stand-alone as it was a challenge for guests 50+ to climb up. The strength of the bunk to support an average adult was also of concern. With so much space downstairs, we would prefer to have removed the desk from the rooms to allow for the two separate beds.
This is purely feedback and not a criticism and we would definitely choose to stay here again.
What a beautifully appointed property.
The church house has been renovated to be the most comfortable place to stay having everything needed, everything has been thought of for your pleasure and enjoyment!
The church building itself has been mindfully renovated into a house while still keeping the authentic church architecture which is truly awe-inspiring!!
We would like to thank the owners for sharing their beautiful place with us, and would definitely love to return again.
