"My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. "Lovely hotel the staff are very pleasant and helpful, car parking at rear is a little tight to get into as the entrance st the side of the hotel is quite narrow, the rooms are very cosy and quiet would definitely stay here again."

"We were delighted by the old-fashioned charm of this hotel, which has surely survived despite all the odds in the current financial climate. We booked a 'superior' double room which turned out to be enormous, the only setback being that it was up 2 flights of stairs and the second of these had very narrow steps. However the room was lovely and so was the bathroom (which had a jacuzzi!) All was nice and clean. On one evening they had a carvery which was very popular and deservedly so. Breakfasts were 'continental' style, but plenty of choice. The bar is an old-fashioned gem."
