It was more like a room at home than a room at a faceless, unfeeling Corporate hotel. Basically a home from home.

Affordable place to stay for a couple of nights. Facilities were very clean and a very comfortable bed. Tea, coffee and toast facilities were made available in the owner’s kitchen and this worked fine for us.

The property is a short walk to the train station or the "downtown" area of Barrhead for food & drink. It's outside the main city of Glasgow which is what I wanted: a bit of quiet countryside at an affordable rate. The owners have 2 lovely dogs and one of them smokes - FYI if you're allergic or sensitive to smells (though the dogs are not allowed in the rooms). Comfy bed, hot shower, friendly and welcoming proprietors, a fox, highland cows, deer, and all the birds are just up the road.

Brilliant Guesthouse with Wonderful Hosts

Vinnie and Jenny were amazing hosts. They made our stay very comfortable and were exceptionally friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
