The best decorated and nicest cottage I’ve ever stayed at!! So much detail and great snacks . I would give this 10 stars !! I definitely will be back soon. Paling is steps away, safe area, wine tasting walking distance , the best Market a half city block away. Even a corner store with all you need. I’ve stayed at some nice places but this sis the best . Good burger at the Saloon across Market.

We had a very pleasant and special stay at Glen Ellen Inn! The cottages are comfy and homey and the creekside seating is a wonderful place to relax. Karen is so pleasant to correspond with. She had everything w our stay perfectly arranged and check in took just seconds. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is nicely laid out - especially for a couple. The cottage has every amenity you would hope for - and some thoughtful extras that you would have for a special guest at home. We will definitely go back and hope our favorite cottage will be available. They are usually full!

Very cozy and discreet. Perfect getaway if you have a weekend planned in the area and want somewhere quiet and calm to unwind after. Communicative and helpful staff, lots of great little touches throughout made for a great experience. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was very clean. Each day, we had a little goody basket of kcup coffee, snacks, and bottled water. This bed was comfortable. The owner communicated very well. My only complaint is the lack of shelving or drawers. There was a tiny closet for hanging clothes but nowhere to put undergarments, socks, pajamas. Etc.. the recliner should be removed and a small chest of drawers added. There is a lot of wall decor. There is a wine fridge. Pub table, keurig coffee pot with coffee cups. The location is excellent and many restaurants are in walkable distance

Although we never met any staff because the Inn has contactless check-in, Karen made us feel very welcome with her timely email providing check-in information. Upon arrival, we followed the path to our “secret cabin” next to a zen garden. Inside, our cozy suite glowed with tealight candles (battery operated). It had a fireplace, large soaking tub and bay window overlooking a picturesque creek and stone bridge. We appreciated all the welcoming touches, including snacks and filtered water in the mini fridge. The Inn was walkable to several good dining options for dinner and breakfast. Our only regrets were that we were only staying in this enchanting place for one night, and that the Inn’s martini bar was closed when we were there.

Lovely view of the water and there are so many thoughtful little touches in the room. Really appreciated the snacks and the jetted tub was the highlight of the stay. Plus there's a fireplace and it's right next to one of my favorite restaurants, the Glen Ellen Star! Perfect little getaway

Secret Cottage 8 or 9

WOW! We cannot say enough positive things about this property. Bed comfort with sheets beyond thread counting, fun, luxurious pillows & at least 3 throws. Did I mention the vibrating lounging chair. Indoors or outdoors there were fun, interesting places to enjoy, day or night, some more private, all with whimsical touches to delight your senses.

This is a hidden, quiet gem. We loved our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and we loved having a porch to sit outside and have a glass of wine. It was too cold to take advantage of the public sitting area by the river but... next time!

What an awesome, quaint, peaceful little hideaway! We loved it. Glen Ellen is a short drive to all the Sonoma wineries and t min from multiple great hiking trails. Cant wait to get back! And the owners - Karen and Chris - are fantastic hosts and very helpful with great local advice!
