Lower level bed is uncomfortable, no other way to say that. I still give it 5-stars as it is as advertised. Communication with owner was timely."

"Relaxing, quiet and clean neighborhood. Love the retro decor. Kitchen is well equipped for those that might want to cook. A few branches were down in backyard, furniture wasn't set out yet such as outdoor dining table and chairs or gazebo, but overall property was in good condition. "We stayed over Mother's Day weekend. It was a lovely house with two large family areas and TVs in every room and access to our streaming apps. We were disappointed the yard was not mowed w/tall weeds. Some of the deck is starting to fall apart. It wasn't suitable for the 3-year-old to run around in. "Very nice home in the Chicago suburbs. I'm a single traveler and I found the home and neighborhood comfortable and safe. Easy 7 minute walk to the "L". I travelled downtown and south to multiple destinations without having to drive. I highly recommend this home !"

"It was a perfect location and plenty of space for family of 8 plus visiting friends. Mike was a great host and we got to enjoy some firewood he had set up for us to have a fire. Highly recommend! The description says 4 bathrooms and there are 3 bathrooms…the only discrepancy."

"Me and my family stayed there and it has to be my favorite place when visiting family there was more than enough room for local family members to come and visit, the beds were so comfortable and the place was stocked with everything we needed. Communication was perfect we had to stay an extra day and they let us book it with no problem. Would definitely book to stay at again."

"This property was overall pretty nice. We traveled with four adults and two pets. It would be nice if there was a gate at the back stairs to prevent pets from heading down there. The stairs are fairly steep. I know that Illinois recycles just about everything, but it would be very nice if there was a separate bin in the kitchen for recycling. "Our five day stay was excellent. Description and pictures of the property are accurate and appropriately inviting. Location is very convenient to Geneva and the other fine Fox River towns. Hosts were gracious, responsive and helpful. Bikes in the garage were nice and the screened in porch and backyard sitting area very inviting. We hope to be back next time in town visiting extended family."
