"My friend and I had a great stay in early June. The location is somewhat isolated but nothing is really close together on Isle of Skye anyway so it didn’t matter (we had a rental car). It did mean it was quiet and beautiful! Very clean and it seems like a lot of love goes into the property. Good communal areas. I was thoroughly impressed by the breakfast. Many options and delicious! We also appreciated the guidance such as book your dinners in advance, this hike is like this, etc. Thank you for the wonderful stay. "

"This location is a little preview of Heaven. The views of the ocean, the green fields, mountains, are out of this world, and it is the quietest, most peaceful place I have ever been. You might hear an occasional "baaaa' by the neighbors, "the sheep". Now to the 1800's house...it reminded me of my grandparent's house. It is very comfortable, and looked like what I imagined a Scottish home would be. We wanted the culture of the Scottish people to come through. It was quaint, and we loved it. We never turned on the TVs at all. Just had our souls, bodies and minds restored. Marion is wonderful to communicate with us. The two bedrooms are upstairs, and the bathroom is downstairs. For someone with mobility issues, this should be considered. We did not cook at the property, but there are adequate cooking appliances, etc. My favorite part of the house is the view from the front sitting rooms and the bedrooms upstairs. The beds are comfortable, which is very important to me. Just an amazing experience. If you are looking for a place to relax, away from people and for peace and quiet, this is it. We walked down to the Stein Inn for dinner and loved the beautiful scenery. The dinner was very good, and it was a fun place to go. We traveled here for a few days, and then to Edinburgh. Then on to Switzerland. This VRBO was my favorite place to be for the entire trip. Thank you, Marion, for sharing your cozy home with us."

"The welcome was warm. Everywhere clean and well kept. Quality tea and cookies and a delicious Continental breakast. And an anazing view from our room with lots of birds to watch and the tide going in and out. Excellent value for money. And a good little restaurant next door."
