"Wow! What a magical place Edgewater is. I came to relax and as soon as i walked in I felt calm. The restaurant has fabulous food, from breakfast to dinner. Sitting outside up on the hill and looking down at the lake was my favourite. The grounds are just lovely. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They even offered to carry my bags to my room. The walk around the lake was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend a stay here. "

"Overall a good place to stay. Room was big and could accommodate a full family of four to five easily. Check in was easy and quick. Friendly staff and clean room."

"This is such a cool place to stay. The rooms are basic with everything you need, comfy beds, warm and the decor has a nice country feel. You can eat at the iconic Cardrona hotel or toast marshmallows around the outdoor fire then wander back to your room. Great staff as well."

"Amazing! Exactly what it looks like, glamping, great amenities, the lake is fantastic and theres a sauna you can book into as well as a food truck!"

"Adequate parking when the adjacent lot is included. Arrival check-in was confusing with limited parking around reception. Variety of breakfast options and access to hot tub were a plus. The biggest drawback was the lack of outdoor lighting. Steps at the front of property are challenging to navigate at night. Excellent location for nearby dining and shops. Large room with nice amenities. "

"I was not sure what to expect, but we were happy with our choice. When we arrived we upgraded to a one bedroom from a junior. The extra space was nice. A big plus - washer and dryer and soap provided. The location is also perfect for roaming rhe town on foot."
