"What a charming place! Staff were very helpful when we had a little trouble with the self check-in, and my requested rollaway bed was in the room and ready to go. The Kern River scenery is beautiful; the lodge is right across from the river. Perfect for our family of four -- we all got a good night's sleep and woke up ready to explore."

"This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. "

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this cute, very clean,updated motel. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean and beautifully updated. The shower was huge! The bed was comfortable, and the room had a Keurig with coffee pods and biscotti. The grounds are well taken care of and clean. The pool was lovely. I really liked the older feel of the property. The sign states the property originated in 1955. It has a lot of charm and I really liked the character of the place. There...
