"A beautiful hotel, small but well presented"

"Excellent experience, only wish we could have stayed longer! The staff was so welcoming, kind and helpful. The property was absolutely beautiful, and amenties were great (free cookies and hot chocolate in the room). The breakfast was delicious and filling. The hotel is also conveniently located close to Edinburgh, but felt tranquil and tucked away. Highly recommend!"

"Very poor. The list could be endless. One TV Channel even after phoning to get the TV fixed. No phone so had to use my own phone to call reception. No WiFi No fridge. No robes. One biscuit packet. No safe. Very tired. A poor experience. This hotel lives on its attraction to the golf course not patrons who might expect a good hotel. Dreadful."

"David was an excellent host. The house was very large and quiet. There was a kettle and tea and biscuits set up in our room each day. David cooked us a full breakfast and there was also fruit and cereal available. The bus stop is only a block or two away and David gave us instructions on which bus to take. This was a great place to stay!"
