I felt safe and here as a safe female traveler - I pretty much walked everywhere and the old city is very cool. I really liked the location of the entrance, which is off the main road so if you’re fumbling and trying to figure things out for entrance it’s very forgiving and provides some grace as a traveler that’s new to the area. "The check in process was so easy. They emailed clear instructions, in about 5 different languages. The fact that there was a lift was great. The property isn't new but the apartment looked just like the photos. We found the beds comfortable, the apartment clean and the amenities well kept. It is also only a 13 min walk to old town. Also a really nice resturant 1 minute away called Chata. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"The Aparthotel is situated in the perfect location, everything is in the walking distance. It’s close to the river as well. It was clean and comfortable. The sofa bed didn’t have the thickest mattress, so you may want to ask if they could provide something to make it more comfortable. The bed was super comfortable though! The rooms were clean and very nice! Would definitely recommend."

"This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The 5 star rating was misleading. It is a 3 & 1/2 star hotel. The Radisson Blu is suppose to be an upgraded hotel. We did not feel it was. We were in a suite. The size of the room was indeed spacious. However, the furniture was dated. The TV was in an awkward space in the primary bedroom. Yes, this location was ideal and across the street from a lovely park. The breakfast buffet was above average. The staff tried their best to compensate for the hotel’s deficiencies. Our expectations were not met with this hotel."

"The hotel is excellently placed for the old town. The 300 bus takes you from the airport to within 12 minute walk of the hotel. Main square is 3 min walk. Great to have a fridge and kettle in the roomThe breakfast next door is a limited selection but very good. Make sure you stand and watch the midday bells in the tower ehen you then get serenade by a trumpeter! If you want to book for Auschwitz or the salt mines, book well in advance"
