This property would’ve been a great place to stay in the early 90s. Everything was so outdated, which is fine with my family and I if they kept up on cleaning the property and rooms. We had burn holes in one of the bed linens. One roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Disgusting place. Pool was cold. No hot tub. Staff was alright. Asked for a later check out we were told 1230. We had a cleaning lady open the door up at noon without knocking first. Scared the crap out of my daughter. Then the lady wanted to proceed to argue with me telling me nobody from the front desk told her we were checking out late. I hope they figure it out, Sooner than later. It really left a bad impression on ever staying in the grayling area again. I would drive right past this town and stay in Gaylord. "

Higgins Lake is a special place I had not heard of before our stay. We fell in love and will be back. The lake house was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. I highly suggest taking a long walk around the neighborhood and down to the lake. It is beautiful! Overall, I would stay here again, and I would recommend this place to a friend. "
