"The home and view are absolutely stunning! I could live on the beautiful back deck! The home was immaculately clean and had anything you’d need to make your stay comfortable. Matt was super helpful with giving me tips for things to do with my children and communicating quickly. We tend to try new places each summer but definitely thinking of a possible place repeat. Thank you Matt and Megan for sharing your amazing property!"

"This place was great, with the exception of just a few things! The views were amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful, the cabins were nice! Now for the negatives… the beds are tiny(full size) which was rough for 2 people who aren’t petite trying to rest after long amazing days on the water. The boat/pier being complimentary was great, but it’s a pretty far walk from the cabins and half of the pier was sinking because the maintenance at this place was REALLY lacking. The pier was floating on barrels and 3 or 4 in a row were sunken so you had to jump over spots to stay dry to walk to the boats… made it hard to take things to/from the boat to enjoy the lake…easy fixes but according to locals and staff when it went corporate it became a little fish and they just aren’t fixing and keeping up on things appropriately. The ice was 7.50/bag and you had to walk all the way down some pier to a marina to get it, then haul it uphill a couple hundred yards to get it to a vehicle. Fuel was a couple bucks more per gallon than the other local marinas. Lastly, to get in the cabins you had to walk 3 flights of stairs hauling luggage, and despite the cabins appearing 2 story the lower half is not part of the unit so the entire cabin is probably 500-600 sq/ft. All said and done I would definitely stay here again and did really enjoy the trip… but I would really like to see the management of this place step up and fix some things to keep a gem a gem!"

"Wonderful home with a great view of Dale Hollow Lake! The place had everything to meet the needs of our whole family - including a baby, several young adults and two dogs. We were very close to at least two marinas on the lake (we rented a boat from Sulphur Creek, which was also awesome!). Wildlife in the outdoor setting was abundant and communication with the host was excellent! Overall, we had a great 4th of July reunion for our family and would definitely vacation here again!"

Custom Cabin w/ 12 Acres on Dale Hollow Lake!

"We had our family vacation of 20 with 10 children under 12 in this large cabin. We had plenty of room to spread out. The deck had a great view and provided space for big family meals. Kitchen was fully equipped and the property provided great entertainment spaces with game room, kitchen, large living room, extra eating area, deck with hot tub and small pool. The internet was spotty but nature made up for it. Communication with owners was good."

"Property was excellent for hosting multiple households, we had 6 households in the property and it flowed very well for our needs. Clean, a truly fully stocked kitchen and other household needs. Games for young to old. The extra full size fridge in the coffee bar area next to the kitchen was incredibly helpful for our stay. We made great use of the game room area as well. My only recommendation would be to change the basement bed frames from metal to wood. We managed for our 2 night stay but the slightest movement, a basic head position change, lead to EXTREMELY loud bed creaking that made sleeping a challenge. (Both the queen basement bedroom and the queen over queen bunks bedroom in the basement.) We experienced severe thunderstorms on our last night that lead to tripped breakers and power outage. The owners were very kind in our late night calls to them as they guided us to the breaker box and help us navigate the situation. Great to work with in an emergency! Overall, a great stay at a very well laid out and accommodating property!"

3 Mi to Marina: Cabin w/ Hot Tub in Byrdstown!

"Fabulous house and amenities. Loved the lay out of the house as we had teens with us and they had their own private space downstairs equipped with 2 bedrooms, full bath, fridge, pool table and more. House was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and plenty of bedding. Beautiful scenic drive- takes roughly 15 min to get there from 111. Definitely worth the drive!"
