"The apartment is well-appointed and central to many interesting historic sites, as well as shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. The train station is a bit of a walk, but once there, you can take day trips to other notable cities in the south and have a comfortable home base to come back to. Some toiletries were provided, but expect to supplement a few supplies such as TP, laundry detergent, etc. The street outside was a bit noisy, including at night, but it was easy to shut out the sound by closing...

"The beds and pillows are fine for a short stay, but still very firm even by Spanish standards. The power tripped in the middle of the night so this meant all of our fans went out, which woke everyone up - property doesn't have AC. It was an easy fix and out of the owner's control, but I would suggest AC units to them, as it did get very warm even with the fans on (We stayed in late June 2023). For the night, it fit our needs perfectly - price, location, and having 3 bedrooms was a huge plus so...

"We stayed in this this lovely, bright apartment for one week in March. We had everything we needed, and the hamper of goodies left by Helen & Steve was much appreciated as we arrived on a Sunday when all the shops were closed. For a one bed apartment it is very spacious, with plenty of storage space. "We are from Houston and stayed here in this charming 19th-century cottage for two nights, from January 2nd to 4th. One of the best stays we've ever had. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive. He responded quickly to our messages and gave us advice on things we hadn't even thought of, making our stay much more enjoyable. It was clear that he knows the area very well and is used to having guests. He helped us a lot and gave us great tips. The house is a dream, situated in a magnificent location with beautiful views. The mountain visible from the front porch is stunning. Colin explained everything about the house and left us plenty of firewood and supplies for the fireplace, which was one of the things we enjoyed most. Definitely 100% recommended."
