"This is an absolute gem of a property... just us and the sheep, cows and birds... and the lovely property owner over the hedge at the top of the garden. We had a very warm welcome, complete with cake! Trust the directions you're given... you will find the property! We can't wait to stay here again. Thankyou Jean!"

"We asked whether we could have an early check-in as we were attending a wedding locally and were told it wasnt a problem as the room hadnt been used the day before. The room itself was nice and clean and the beds were really comfortable. There was plenty of extra room for us to walk around and get changed etc. As we were on the ground floor, we had a double door which opened straight into our room. Meaning we didnt have to go through the main entrance. Breakfast was amazing. Sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, egg and toast. Follwed by Val's homemade blueberry drop scones and Chris's homemade jams. Would highly recommend!!!"

"Brilliant Pub, Amazing staff and Stunning Surroundings. We only stayed for 2 nights but would of loved to stay longer. Staff were attentive and welcoming. We were very impressed by our room which was extremely spacious with a large shower room and even a sauna in the room. Our Bed was so comfy and the pub was full of friendly locals. We were slightly worried when we arrived as there was limited parking spaces for the hotel itself however immediately next door was a huge public carpark which was free after 6pm and only cost £1 until 10am. Really enjoyed the Karaoke on our first night, and Played some pool on Saturday. Overall would defiantly stay again. "

"Great house in a convenient location. Lots of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay.We travelled over from Canada and drove straight up from Heathrow. When we arrived, the host had left enough food for our breakfast the following morning as well as milk and tea for us. Couldn’t ask for anything better after 15 hours of travel."
