"Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall...

"Egentligen ett riktigt coolt ställe. men med svenska kronans värde gentemot dollarn så blir det väldigt dyrt. Bodde bara en natt, men bra mat, god frukost, trevlig personal och trevlig promenad i regnskogen med en guide som kunde och hörde alla djur."

"När vi kon fram så fanns vår bokning inte. Vi fick istället ett mindre rum till det tredubbla priset. För övrigt mysigt hotell nen bra service men toaletterna fungerade ej och samma sak efter rumbyte."
