Taking the 3-Seen Tour of Grundlsee and the two surrounding lakes was a highlight of our honeymoon! Our visit was in October as the few leaves were just starting to turn and it was perfect. The shops and restaurants around the lake were mostly closed down as it was off season for them, but that added to the beauty of the quiet and calm. Our hotel was on the opposite end of the lake. This was taken from the Gössl end of the lake while waiting for the boat to return. My happy place is always in the #mountains

Toplitzsee, a beautiful lake only accessible by foot. This restaurant is the only thing in the area and serves fresh fish from the lake. We were staying on Grundlsee, a lake just outside of the town of Bad Ausee, and took the 3-Seen-Tour. The tour is a boat and walking tour of three of the lakes in the district
