Beautiful, luxurious home
Our family had a wonderful stay in Burleigh Heads. The location up on the hill gave us beautiful views and was a close drive to beaches, cafes and the large Stockland shopping centre. Our little kids couldn’t walk the steep hill down to the beach area/main strip of shops (James St), but fit adults should be ok :) All the bedding and living areas were very very comfortable and well presented. We stayed during January and it was incredibly humid so the top floor (kitchen/living) and middle floor (2 main bedrooms) were fine to keep cool as they have split system air cons and fans. The bottom pool level (living area and 2 bedrooms) were very hot and the kids struggled sleeping with only fans and no split system air cons. There is also a bedroom on the top floor next to the kitchen but again no air con. This would probably all be fine during most of the year - it was just particularly hot while we were there! The kids absolutely loved the pool. It is quite deep but little kids with a swim vest are fine. The very lovely pool area has beautiful big trees and singing birds and a gorgeous view. There are 3 levels and lots of stairs - just fyi for anyone with toddlers as it might not be suitable. The house also has the most well-equipped kitchen I’ve ever used in a holiday house - top quality appliances, cookware and utensils. A special shout-out to the host Sabrina for always responding quickly to questions and making us feel super welcome. Absolutely 5 stars!
