"Incredible place with top value. Choose the room with private outdoor hot spring. The meals are so delectable. The service is unmatched — it was raining as we drove up and a staff member rushed out to give us each an opened umbrella. The room and amenities are amazing."

"初めて1人別府温泉に行き、こちらに泊まりました。 昔ながらの旅館と言う感じがいいです。チェックインすると、仲居さん(女将だった？)がお茶と茶菓子を持って部屋へ案内してくれます。 部屋は全て和室。年配なので和室が懐かしく、久しぶりに旅館を味わった感じがします。マッサージチェアーも有りました。 お風呂は、勿論全て源泉掛け流しで、貸切内湯が2つと、露天風呂1つがあります。どちらもちょうどいい湯加減でした。40℃くらいかな。 食事は1人でも部屋食にしていただけました。内容は大分産素材を多く使用し美味しく仕上げられています。少しずつ数多くの郷土料理、名産を食べられるので、最近は夕食付き宿を予約しています。大正解でした。 何より、おおいた和牛のサーロインステーキはすごく美味しかったです。 量も十分あり、お腹がパンパンになりました。なのにデザートの地獄蒸しプリンが濃厚で美味しくすっと入ってしまいました。 朝食もすごく量がありました。地獄蒸し卵ほか焼き魚、冷や奴、フランクなどなど。食べ切れませんでした。 また大分行くなら泊まりたい旅館です。"

"部屋がたくさんあり、広さもありました。ベットが結構グラグラで寝心地は微妙。お風呂の鍵が脱衣所側にあり、子供が間違えて鍵を閉めてしまい私だけ風呂の中に閉じ込められ気づくまでの何十分を不安で過ごしました。特に風呂の扉の鍵は早めに改善してほしいです。"

"The staff was excellent and the food/meals were amazing. The seki saba and aji sashimi as well as the bungo beef were delicious and a must try. We really enjoyed that you get to use one of the four onsen for yourself/your party for 1 hour, just make sure you go at the designated time slot and the onsen you chose. There is English intructions to help you use the amenities as well as an explanation of the inn and their areas. The only issue is we found mold growing in the AC which we did use...

"Overall, it was an okay stay. Everything felt pretty average for an onsen hotel... not bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. The room was decent, service was fine, and the location was convenient. The onsen itself worked well.. but that's all it's matter.. the natural hot spring.. "
