Modern Comfy, Convenient New Build

We invite you to come and enjoy the peace and incredible beauty of Golden, BC. Our street is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. This private main floor suite is located conveniently - only a 5 min walk to all downtown amenities.
Our home is brand new... It features some custom-made furniture pieces from local artisans and live edge vanities bringing the natural outdoors into this amazing space. Panoramic views of the mountains from all windows.
We welcome suggestions to know how we can help your stay be even more comfortable as we want your experience with us to be relaxing and enjoyable.

For your enjoyment you have a BBQ and quaint patio seating area for you to relax on after a busy day of exploring (BBQ and patio not available during Winter) and we have added air-conditioning.
We chose this site for its panoramic view of the mountains. Additionally we were attracted to the quiet nature of the street and the joy of being part of the vibrant culture of downtown Golden. It is a very short walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants, shops, bike paths, walking trails and ongoing events. Unique shopping experiences or impromptu concerts are not uncommon here!

Golden is just off of the Trans Canada Highway and its close proximity to numerous National and Provincial Parks puts it in the middle of Mother Nature's playground. Bus services daily, taxi service and car rentals from a major city are available, making exploration of the area easy. When staying at this unit in Golden, the local activities and amenities are within a short walking distance

Great spacious place

This property was spacious and comfortable for our family of five. Very convenient location to downtown Golden as well as Yoho NP. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the area!

Perfect for weekend trip with our 3 adult children.

Stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding. This suite was a perfect base for 5 of us. So spacious, clean, well stocked and well appointed. Had everything we needed to prepare a couple meals and enjoy some hang-out time. Easy walk along the kicking horse river trail to downtown and some nice restaurants. We highly recommend this unit and the hosts.

Best stay ever

I’ve stayed at countless short-term rentals, and I can say without exaggeration that this was the best. The house was immaculately clean, silent, and walkable to town restaurants. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again in the future.

Perfect basecamp

This rental is clean, modern, comfortable, and has a great location. Restaurants were walkable. The owners are fantastic and excellent communicators about the property. The sourdough loaf after a long day of travel was the cherry on top! Nice touch Twila and Ezio!

Warm Welcome in Golden

Relaxing in Golden

We gathered in Golden to spend time together as sisters and spouses. The house was clean and comfortable and we spent lots of time visiting. The host had some good recommendations for outings and restaurants in the area.They even left us some yummy bread from a local bakery.

Fantastic location, impeccably clean, well equipped

Twila our host was amazing, even delivered a loaf of fresh local bread. The location was perfect for walking to local restaurants and very well equipped for our weekend needs. The kitchen had everything we needed for eating in. We were very impressed with how clean the accommodation was and would definitely recommend to anyone going to Golden to golf, have family time away etc.

A perfect stay in every way!

Best Hosts Ever

Staying at Modern Comfort was a joy. Our hosts were warm and caring and made sure our every need was met. The house is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. There was even a loaf of fresh bread and butter on the counter for us when we arrived. I highly recommend this home!

Ski Trip to Kicking Horse

We loved staying here! Everything was so thoughtfully stocked, we had a wonderful stay. Twila and Ezio were so communicative, making sure we had everything we needed. A very convenient location, with a short walk to town. We skied at Kicking Horse and it was easy to drive up to the resort. Would highly recommend!

What a Delightful Stay

I can't say enough about how fantastic this rental is. Yes, it is a real review. Twila and Ezio have put a lot of thought into preparing this property for guests, including fresh, locally baked sourdodugh bread for our arrival. Check-in was smooth. The condo is immaculate. I would stay here again if we return to Golden.

What a great choice!

We were a group of 5 friends and we could have not picked a better fit for our ski trip to Kicking Horse. Location is very nice (15 min drive), house is very thoughtfully stocked with everything needed (we cooked at home). Nice touches add to the beautiful style. Hosts are very warm, knowledgeable about the resort and town, ful of great recommendations and very accommodating. We would stay here again and highly recommend to all!

A Gem!

What a delightful, bright and very clean VRBO. We very much appreciated how well stocked it was and the fresh loaf of sourdough bread and butter was a very nice touch. Our host was welcoming, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The location was convenient, walkable and close to amenities. Only thing to note is how easily sound travels within the suite. We would definately stay here again without the slightest hestitation!

Best ever VRBO

Arrived to this VRBO and pleasantly surprised how perfect it was. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home was spotless, filled with many amenities like soaps, toilet paper, dishes, wine glasses not to mention fresh loaf of sourdough bread on counter. Twila came by after my arrival to ensure everything was fine and we did meet her husband the next day. We felt very welcome and our hosts couldn’t have been a more lovely, more accommodating couple. I’m actually staying again at this VRBO in July as it’s walking locale to downtown Golden, trails along the river are nicely 5 minutes away and a nice drive to golf course. Highly recommend staying here.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Twila and Exio were great hosts. We have stayed in many places throughout the years, and nowhere else has made us feel more at home. Twila had extra little touches that warmed our hearts. So thoughtful. Their home is lovely and they are very friendly. I highly recommend their property. If I could give it a 100 stars I would, but it only allowed me 5 stars. Hope you enjoy your stay. very comfortable

This is actually the lower half unit with an entrance on the side. Inside is spacious and very well appointed. The location is a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the amenities of Golden. We used the space as home base for exploring the nearby national parks which worked great. The owners are very engaged in making sure you have a nice stay. Upon arrival, we found a fresh loaf of bread awaiting us (delicious!!). They have made every effort to provide anything you might need, even a can of bear spray to borrow if you plan to go out in the woods. We highly recommend Golden and this property.
